Club Land Rover Ireland are holding a club off roading event in the Coilte forest in Wicklow on Jan 31.
This will be a fully insured CLRI event at our Coilte forest. Meeting time 10am at The Heather restaurant in Laragh, to be in the Forest by 11am. Please be on time as we need to lock the entrance to the forest after we enter.
Bring along some lunch, water, approprate clothing, recovery gear, cameras and a barrel of laughs for what promises to be a great day out.
Non members can come along for €35 day membership per driver. Anyone interested in becoming a member for the rest of the current membership year can do so for €50.

We have full access to a Coillte forest in Wicklow. The club has complete public liability insurance in accordance with Coillte's strict guidelines. We use the forest for our regular bi-monthly offroading. One of the events is usually an easier event, which is non damaging and available for most types of Land Rovers. During this event, there's always an option for the more experienced members to go serious off roading, while the less experienced take in some green laning and a little bit of learning about their vehicles and their capabilities.
Monthly meetings which are held in rotation in Quinlans Pub in Clondalkin and The Coachmans Pub at Dublin Airport. Details of these locations can be found in the 'About CLRI' section in the menu.
Full access to the Club Forum. The forum has many sections with friendly banter and a vast array of knowledge built up from years of repairing and living with Land Rovers. There's vehicle specific technical areas where people post queries on problems they may be having, and helpful replies on how to fix those problems.
We've just been given permission to Recce (scout) a new location for Off Roading in Sligo. This will also be made available to all club members.
We run competitions with great prizes regularly - The Laragh Trophy - Held just after the New Year annually a great day's offroading including fun navigation events and a night away with some Dancing and Drinking.
Tool Time!!! We often organise a tool time in response to a member's cry for help, be that an engine change or simply a poke around a vehicle for some advice, we normally help out.

You are also very welcome to come along to one of our bi-monthly Offroading events, where you can either drive your vehicle for a nominal fee to cover the PLI, or jump into one of the member's vehicles to see exactly what they can do!
